

At the Ohio State Fair, I was part of the summer marketing and public relations team. We each worked to produce quality newsletters for release internally and publically. I wrote in their entirety for the public newsletters sampled below. They were sent out to thousands of fairgoers using Ticketmaster's email system. The internal "Fair Insider" newsletters were sent by a text messaging system to all fairground staff, including concessionaires, exhibitors and year-round administrators. The content within these newsletters is similar to the content in the corresponding press releases. I had to select which topics were more targeted to fairgoers versus staff and ensure appropriate language. These samples showcase my ability to adapt content to different forms, write clearly and manage compelling content.
